Following are the terms and conditions for Lateral Inspiration (LI) Website and Services:
Service Terms & Conditions
1.
We will need clear and exact project requirements / Project scope document before we quote for the project.
2.
We shall quote for the project only once we discuss and mutually agree upon the scope of the project.
3.
Any changes made to the project scope document will be considered as a new project (or sub project) and we will need to discuss modifying our quote accordingly and will require the Client's prior approval in writing before initiating the work involved to incorporate the changes.
4.
During our Development Process, we follow a strict Quality Assurance procedure to ensure Client satisfaction. At all levels of this process, we request Client approval to move on to the next phase of development. When a Client approves every step in this process, Client is in fact giving us his/her certificate of satisfaction and clearance for signing off that phase of development so that we can proceed to the next phase. If for some reason the Client should change his/her mind or if the Client's specifications and/or requirements change after their clearance and these changes require at least 6 hours to complete, we will need to modify our quote accordingly and will require the Client's prior approval in writing before initiating the work involved to make changes.

Once a project or part of thereof has been submitted to the client for approval or suggestions, a response needs to be given within 14 working days from the date of submission. In case there is no response from the client within 14 working days from the date of submission, the project shall be considered approved and we shall move on to the next step. Any changes received after that will be considered as a new project and we shall have to re-quote. And will have to be taken up after completion of the phase of the project in hand.
6.
Payment Terms: 30% Advance, 40% midway in the project (As mutually agreed at the time of signing the contract) and 30% before final submission of the project.
7.
In case of maintenance work, the final payment for the month has to be made by the last working day of the month.
8.
We are open to revisions (not requiring more than 4 hours of work) requested within 2 weeks of final submission of the project. Any updates requested after the said period will be considered as a new project with new specifications and fresh payment terms.
9.
LI is not responsible for and does not guarantee server uptime and presentation of graphics, text and other entities of client website if the hosting server is selected or purchased by the client.
10.
The designs/templates/documents sent to the client are our copyright. Reuse of these is strictly prohibited and will bear legal consequences.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree that you will not use the LI Services to:
1.
Employ misleading email addresses or falsify information in the header, footer, return path, or any part of any communication, including emails.

Collect or store personally identifying information about other users for commercial or unlawful purposes.
3
Impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a LI official, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
4.
Use automated means, including spiders, robots, crawlers, or the like to download data from LI databases.
5.
Sell, distribute, or make any commercial use of data obtained from LI or make any other use of this data in a manner, which could be expected to offend the person for whom the data is relevant.
6.
Modify, publish, transmit, transfer or sell, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, link, display or in any way exploit any content from LI, including, without limitation, by incorporating data from LI databases into any e-mail or "white pages" products or serviced, whether browser-based, based on proprietary client-site applications, web-based, or otherwise.
7.
Intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law and any regulations having the force of law.
8.
Access the services after your account or access has been terminated by LI.
9.
Advertise, offer for sale, or sell any item you are prohibited from advertising or selling by any applicable local, state, national, or international law, including regulations having the force of law.
You acknowledge and agree that LI shall have the right (but not the obligation), in their sole discretion, to refuse to publish, remove, or block access to any content that is available via the services at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all, with or without notice. Without limitation LI shall have the right (but not the obligation), in its sole discretion, to refuse to publish, remove, or block access to any content that violates the Terms and Conditions or is otherwise objectionable as determined by LI, in its sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any Content, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such Content.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that LI may preserve content and may also disclose content if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce the Terms and Conditions; (c) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third-parties; or (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of LI, its users and the public. You acknowledge and agree that the technical processing and transmission of the services, including your content, may involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. You further acknowledge and agree that other data collected and maintained by LI with regard to its users may be disclosed in accordance with LI Privacy Policy.
Elements of LI’s Web site are protected by trade dress, trademark, unfair competition, and other laws and may not be copied in whole or in part. No logo, graphic, or image from this Web site may be copied or retransmitted without LI's express written permission.
Any creation received from LI professionals is protected by intellectual property right and any distribution, reuse or modification in any way , without written permission of LI is illegal.
Children’s Privacy
www.lateralinspiration.com is not for children. Accordingly, we do not intend to collect personal information from anyone we know to be under 18 years of age.
